Maybe aac is better for more dynamic material?i don´t know,didn´t try this out. I used 320kbit/s vbr versus aac itunes plus, directly converted in itunes. Ok, the cd is really crushed and the rms level is crazy but still,the mp3 conversion did a much better job with the clipped waveforms than aac. WOW how much better, per megabyte, the transient punch and detail of the MP3 is to the wooly, chewy transients the AAC is giving me.
